Building meaningful connections to support migrant women

Some of the most valuable outcomes of projects like ReRootED are the connections that grow along the way.

It was a real pleasure to meet with Oksana Vyhovska, Chair of the Deutsch-Ukrainische Gesellschaft Freiburg (DUG), and explore how our work aligns in supporting migrant women in rebuilding their lives and careers.

During our exchange, we identified strong common ground around:
– empowering women through skills and confidence,
– supporting wellbeing and emotional resilience,
– creating real and sustainable pathways into the labour market.

These shared priorities reflect the core focus of ReRootED, which combines personal development, social entrepreneurship, and community-based support to help migrant women move forward with strength, clarity, and purpose.

This meeting is a great example of how collaboration beyond the project consortium can strengthen impact and open new opportunities for future cooperation.

We look forward to continuing this dialogue and building meaningful partnerships that support migrant women across Europe.
