Five modules. One journey. Business skills and emotional strength, learned together.

Starting a social enterprise in a new country takes more than a good idea. It takes courage on hard days, strength after setbacks, and a network to lean on. The ReRootED curriculum was created by five organisations from Spain, Italy, Germany and Ukraine. It was tested with migrant women in Rome in September 2026, and it brings entrepreneurship and emotional wellbeing into one practical learning path.

It’s free and open to everyone. Work through it on your own at your own pace, or use it as a trainer with a group. Every module has reflection prompts and hands-on exercises, and all of it uses a trauma-informed approach: it builds on your strengths, respects your story, and works in small, realistic steps.

Lesson Plans for Trainers

Ready-to-run activities for every module of the ReRootED curriculum

Every ReRootED module comes with lesson plans that turn the learning into practice. Each one is a ready-to-use activity for trainers, educators and facilitators who work with migrant women in social entrepreneurship.

Every lesson plan includes:

  • the aims and learning objectives of the activity
  • the materials you need, linked to the module slides
  • a step-by-step structure, with timings for groups, pairs or individual learners
  • self-assessment questions, so participants can check their own progress
  • a printable worksheet participants can take home and keep using

All activities follow the trauma-informed approach of the ReRootED Framework. They build on participants’ strengths, let each woman choose how much she shares, and break big goals into small, realistic steps. They work just as well for self-learners following the curriculum on their own.

Download the lesson plans with each module, adapt them to your group, and tell us how they worked for you.
