Our Purpose
ReRootED is designed to respond to the emotional, educational, and entrepreneurial needs of migrant women. The initiative strengthens wellbeing, identity, and confidence through storytelling and structured community support, while opening possibilities for social entrepreneurship that reflect each woman’s lived experience.
Why This Initiative
Across Europe, migrant women often navigate trauma, disrupted identities, and exclusion from mainstream education and economic opportunities. They frequently carry the weight of caregiving, language barriers, and systemic inequalities that limit their ability to participate fully in society.
ReRootED addresses these challenges by combining three elements:
- Emotional recovery and wellbeing
- Story-based learning
- Pathways toward social entrepreneurship
How We Work
We work to create safer spaces, amplify diverse voices, and make learning accessible, culturally responsive, and grounded in real needs.
ReRootED is built on four interconnected Work Packages:
WP2: Training Framework and Curriculum
Creates an emotional-intelligence-informed framework and an adaptable curriculum for educators and migrant women.
WP3: Story-Based Resources
Produces infographics, podcasts, and training materials based on real experiences of migrant women.
WP4: Engagement, Communication, and Sustainability
Ensures long-term access to resources, community uptake, and visibility across Europe.
Project Management
Ensures quality, coordination, and ethics throughout the project.
